Give http://www.skyscanner.net a try. We recently got cracking deals on there for Hubby to go to Glasgow from Lanzarote (although he flew back here again from Manchester). I don't know how flexible you are with your dates - but Skyscanner lets you viw the whole month... so you can grab a good bargain.

Hi, I booked my March 08 flight only for 2 back in August with FC for a total of £278 and now they are selling the exact same flights for £172, that's £106 cheaper. so it does not always pay to book early. Sent FC an email but as usual not had a reply back as yet.
