Oh how awful that poor little girl. I do hope she's well again soon

I don't want to jump to conclusions but it's hard not to when the mother has now gone missing!
The family had two seperate rooms, one had the father and two boys and the other had the mother and daughter! The father has also said the mother had been acting a bit strange!
Lets hope the girl is ok!

The girl is fine she is at the SON Dorado hospital - she did suffer some injuries but she will be just fine

Im so glad the little girl is recovering well, as young as she is, she may be able to shed some light on how it happened when she is well enough.

I think it's a bit early to say the girl is fine. The father has asked for Hospital Bulletins not to be issued, but the local paper is running the story that the girl's injuries are "Critical" and amongst other things she has serious head injuries.

Chivas - I know it's hard not to jump to conclusions, but particularly in view of the Maddie disappearance, I think it's only fair to avoid judgement. I cannot begin to think what it's like to see your 7 year old daugher fall from a balcony, but it would test the sanity of anyone, and if she's assumed the worst, and fled, then we must wait and see it all unfold. I think there maybe a few twists and turns in this one yet!

Let's just hope the mother is found alive and well, and that the girl makes a full recovery.

According to THIS REPORT the little girl is improving, but unfortunately the mother has been found dead.

BBC website and ceefax says that the body of a female beleived to be the mother has been found in a cave on Cala Domingos beach. IIRC that beach is next to the Samoa.

How very sad.

Sad for the woman who believed her child was dead, sad for her husband who now has to pick up the pieces, and sad for those children now left with a mother.

The poor little girl is doing well, considering what her injuries were but she will be fine according to a Son Dureta Spokesperson which is very good news

The mother has been found dead in a cave...it is confirmed.
Oh God, how terrible and I think I had problems this week, something like this puts it back into perspective.
My thoughts and prayers go to the entire family.
