Agree you would probably get away with it, even if against rules. Problem is, heaven forbid, if something goes horribly wrong!!

Thanks for the replys.
I don't want to leave my teenagers unattended on the ship. They would just fall out!
I know on Ocean Village that you can pay to have your kids minded by the Youth Team if you go on one of their shore excursions. I just wondered if Royal Caribbean did the same thing?

hi
Just reading through a few posts as i have another bit of catching up to do. My bit of news is that we are going on the Independance cruise to the Canaries in May next year. Its the firt RCI cruise for the family after being NCL ites for the past couple of years so .... a bit apprehensive to say the least. Just thought i'd share my news and ask if there is a thread for the ship on HT

Hi Ann

As this is a new ship we don't yet have any information on it. However I did find THIS which has some information on tipping.

Please feel free to start a topic entitled Independence of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean publish specials every Tuesday, called the Promowave.
For anyone who can cruise at short notice there are some good bargains- the one that caught my eye was for Splendour of the Seas, 10 night Med Cruise from Venice to Lisbon starting at $599 on November 24th,2007.
Phew.... wish I could go
