At last somebody else who rates the Sherwood Forest!!!! Out of all the 24hr restaurants in hotels such as the Studio Cafe @ MGM, Pyramid Cafe @ Luxor, America @ NYNY, we actually still think that the Sherwood is the best we have visited.
Studio Cafe @ MGM was close on food but way off in comparison on price.
I like these 24hr a day options, never majorly busy, normally attentive servers and good food at rock bottom prices.
As I said previously, Excalibur is a good hotel. I don't see why it gets such bad reviews on certain other travel forums.
jwhiting, if you haven't done so already perhaps you would like to leave a review of the Excalibur on our reviews site for the benefit of other members.

When we ate in the Studio Cafe in MGM a few weeks ago we were very disappointed. Yes it's handy because it's open when everywhere else is closed, but the quality of food we found to be fairly poor. We won't eat there again

That surprises me TC because we only had excellent meals in the Studio Cafe but just felt it was far more expensive compared to the 24hr restaurants at other hotels.
In fact I thought all the restaurants and bars we tried in the MGM were excellent. Diego was awesome.
