well said ellie meg why people still pay these silly prices they will never drop
But the quality of this one was fab (& 18 months on looks as good as the day I bought it). AND my daughter really wanted it & I wasn't spending £600 or £800 or whatever the real one costs.
As far as I'm concerned (usually) a copy is only worth the item it is at the quality that item is.
The name is worthless because as we all know it means nothing!
I've tried to explain this to Turkish shopkeepers, that it doesn't matter if it usually (ie a real one, but they never say it like that, because its admitting what we all know that their one is snide) costs £200, £300, £400 WHATEVER. All theres is, is the item it is & the name they wrote on it does not make it worth more than any other t-shirt/towel/sunglasses of the same quality with the said name.
Personally I prefer to just buy a bag that I like, of good quality and not because it's got some fake label on it. Those types of goods are still of a high quality and a very good price compared to anything you can buy over here.
I used to go self catering for 2 weeks and spend nearly £1200 (family of 4), but have now started the AI option and still find myself spending £1000
I think its a case of, if you have the money you will spend it regardless of high prices
