hello all
not been on here for ages

got back from 2 week honeymoon to goa last saturday
flew out with the dreaded monarch,flight was as bad as usual,our extra leg room seats hadnt been booked (we needed them as my dad has back and leg problems),and the staff wouldnt do anything to help,it was like they didnt want to help you at all.
got a taxi from the airport to prazere resort ,apart from the initial loud music we had an amazing stay there,great rooms ,friendly staff and plenty of good food and drink
was really disappoionted with the state of the beaches,never seen so much dirt,needles and bottles in one place before,what was worse was we were supposed to be haveing a beach blessing as we got married the day we flew out to goa,but once we saw the state of the beaches we changed our minds and didnt go ahead with it
had a great 2 weeks,even if we did have a fair amount of rain,did all the usual trips,crocs, markets, spice plantation, but we also booked to go on the tuskers and tigers trip with day tripper,and i have to say eddie went oiut of his way to make sure it was a good trip,he arranged for us to travel by jeep rather than bus so it was easier on my dads back,and we had a fantastic time,we loved washing the elaphants and feeding the monkeys,were else but india could you stand on the open steps of a bus to take photos of a fully grown tiger,(amazing)
we spent a few days staying at meems arabian sea beach huts on ashwen beach and ive got to say they are the nicest huts ive ever stayed in,they had 2 bedrooms,a bathroom and balcony,ive got the web site addy if anyone wants it,its run by a canadian women and her indian husband,they run a brilliant place,it has yoga classes every day we felt so chilled there didnt want to come home,would deffinatly go back there
the flight home was nearly 4 hours late but we didnt mind there was only 25 of us on the plane so we steched out and slept most of the way home, which makes it seem quicker to get home
it was great to get home to see the wedding pictures
