Is bartering 'acceptable in places like Ashoka's and Genuine fakes? Sorry, but I don't know if these are stalls or proper shops!!

ALWAY'S REMEMBER, GO FOR THE LOWEST PRICE YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. IF YOU WALK OFF AND THEY DON'T STOP YOU, THEN YOUR PRICE IS TOO LOW.
IF THEY FOLLOW YOU, YOU HAVE A BARGAIN, DON'T AS SOME OF THEM TRY TO DO, GO UP A FEW HUNDRED, IF THEY HAVE FOLLOWED, THAT IS ROUGHLY THE PRICE.
I was told this some years ago and it always comes to true.

Bought a 'Gucci' watch for our daughter at Anjuna market. The seller wanted 750 rupees for it but got him down to 250 with the battery included. It was an excellent fake; looked it up on the internet when we got back and the real one was retailing at £450 and looked exactly the same. Well impressed!

It seems that at these prices I will be doing some hard bargining and buying that many that I will only just have room to get my wristband on. Is there any restrictions on how many you can bring back into U.K.?
By law you arn't allowed to bring ANY of them back into the country. If UK customs search your luggage they will confiscate them, that is the law with any fake gear, clothes, handbags included. DVD's are also a no no.
