Coming in you won't have time to get a swig of water let alone a bar

and one you are checked in and through the security barriers (in the old terminal)there's nothing . Not been to the new terminal yet so can't tell you

Don't quote me but I think the charters are still using the old terminal and the scheduled's the new.

We flew back through Sharm, end of Oct and went through the old terminal---------We were flying with Xl !!

I think I read the above on TA but it sounds like its not set in stone.
Perhaps Swiss can clarify if there is an easy way to work out who uses which terminal when he's next about.

if it is going to be the old terminal we always wait around in the part with the shops and resturants . Not exactly a Bar I dont think but im 90% sure you can buy drinkies and pizza etc if you want to pay the high prices. we then move through the security once we have a gate number . the 2 areas are next door to each other and you can see everything in both areas with the usual security seperating them. . In the old days people always recommended you stay on that side for as long as you could because there were no toilets past security let alone a bar but I believe there is one now

We flew into Sharm at the end of September using the Old Terminal, and flew out from the new terminal, there is a small cafe serving pizza relatively expensive compared to outside, alcohol free lager and other soft drinks, no booze at all. There are a couple of coffee kiosks, and the Duty Free in which everything is priced up in US$. There are no remotely comfy seats for a brand new airport we thought it was poor.

HI we just got back from sharm we used terminal 2 the new one we were through within ten mins , coming back was busy but we flew on time without any hassle , I dont recall a bar just shops and cafes and duty free .
