Hi

I went to Tsillivi last year with the kids and we had a great time. The kids loved it as there is so much to do. There is crazy golf, horse and cart, cars and a excellent supervised play area at a bar. The girl who looks after the kids is great and she runs around like mad with them. They were really attached to her so we went back again and again. That was down by the paintball area.

I would not suggest staying at Planos Bay as thats where we stayed and it was not a good hotel. There are plenty of other nice hotels. The beach is fab for kids. Do not believe the reps when they tell you not to trust the local excursions. The reps overcharge and we had the best boat trip ever through the locals and it was an english run boat.

Hope this helps

I recommend the Esperides Beach hotel in Rhodes, this hotel always scores high in the reviews department,it has on site waterslides and many other things such as a rock climbing pool etc and the entertainment there is excellent with nightly shows which means you will not want to leave the hotel in the evenings. Also it is more or less across the road from the waterpark which is also owned by the hotel company( they also own a mini funfair thing in Faliraki too).
We stayed there in 2004 and thought it was great, the only reason we havent returned is because it was Hb when we went and now is all inclusive so the prices have gone up a lot and we are not big eaters or drinkers etc, also the hotel has five bedded rooms but the Tour ops dont have them? To get you to have two and then pay more!. The hotel is supposed to be reverting back to HB in 2009 so we may return then.
You can still get late deals to this hotel with First Choice you just have to keep checking until your lucky.#
Forgot to mention this hotel is Beachfront too. ;)

Hi there. We went to Zante last August (Alykanas) staying at the Alykanas Beach (Kosmar) which is next to the Alykanas Village (Thomsons).
We went with a very open mind because we like, dare I say, more 'traditional' Greece. We had the most fantastic holiday ever. Alykanas and Alykes (which is about a leisurely 10 minute walk away) were very child friendly. We thought this might be reflected in the food at the restaurants which provided stuff to keep kids occupied but this wasn't the case. I don't think we had a bad meal in 2 weeks.
The Alykanas Beach was great for kids, we hardly saw our son because there were kids of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
Our son is 12.
Both places are right on the beach. Normally, I would run mile from this type of accommodation because they are quite large by Greek standards but all the staff very friendly and fantastic with the kids.
If you need any more info, just ask.
Didn't see anything of Zante because our son always wanted to be at the apartment or in the restuarants/bars in town because he usually met up with someone his age. The most relaxing holiday we have ever had ;)
