Hi, Yes I think they can. They will probably have it sewn up in the small print of their terms and conditions so you need to read these to check.

It's not so much that they could 'force you to pay the difference' as you put it, but they would probably just cancel your holiday and refund you whatever monies you had already paid on the grounds that it would be un-economic for them to proceed.

Ah well.....nearly had a week all-inclusive in a 4 star hotel in tenerife in October, family of 5 for seven hundred quid courtesy of travel republic!

i phoned them anyway to check it out and they said it had been a fault with their flight operators website

I booked a 3 week holiday to Goa over the phone once and queried the price and was told there was a mistake on their system as the database wasn't charging for the 3rd week.

I asked if we could be made to pay the difference when they realised, and was told no, once we booked we had agreed this price.

3 weeks in Goa over Christmas, all inclusive for £900. That was a VERY good holiday!!
