ive just wrote a massive pm and it didnt send propley

Im a bit annoyed

I sent a freind a pm and it was in my outbox...i saw it had been picked up so went to my sent items and just the top line was there of the message.
I always preveiw and make sure i havnt miss spelt anything so I know i definatly didn't miss delte it by accident. Also my freind had this trouble aswell when she sent me a message it just all dissapeared when i picked it up.
I wouldnt go on about it but i was typing for at least 10 minuites.

If you were typing for over ten minutes then you may have used too many characters. Not sure if it would still have sent it though so best wait til Mark or Van are next online to help.

theres a limit to how much you can type..

Im not the greatest fast typer either :lol:

A little tip for those writing long posts and long PM's ... do what i do:

Highlight the text, and CTRL-C before submitting. That way, if anything goes wrong, you can try again by just pasting it back in (CTRL-V)

Can you clarify got me please...

Your friend recieved the message but there was no text?

Your friend sent you a message and again there was no text?

The maximum character limit is 60,000 so it must have been an extremely long PM to fill that total....60,000? Do you think it's likely you used all those characters?

I need to do some testing when you get back to me Danny.

Are messages crossed right at the same time. Could this be the reason why it happend?
