Take a taxi.

Stayed in huts at the Cuba beach bar -decent (basic) accomodation on stilts, with a good setting. Enjoyed it but more than the one night we had would have been better.
Taxi would be your best bet for not losing out on time, and price shouldn't be too much. Should be possible by local bus but, I would guess maybe one or two changes to get there (not the quickest route).

Get a prepaid taxi from the airport which is the easiest way. Look at a few shacks before you make a decision where to stay as some have communal loos etc.
