A day is not enough for this beautiful city and we barely scratched the surface, in the short time we were there.
One of the things I wanted to see, was the " Santo Caliz " or Holy Grail in Valencia Cathedral.
This chalice is reported to be the cup that Jesus drank from during "the last supper" and it dates back to the time Jesus would/could have used it. (1071).
Anyway, the pope and millions of Catholics think so.
One thing that amazed my hubby, were the streets lined with orange trees, which were full of fruit and it seemed as though nobody dare pick them, but these trees full of fruit were growing amidst concrete and in places where you'd never expect a tree to survive,(next to a dual carriageway on a small pavement with all the pollution from the heavy traffic that passes through the city daily.)
A beautiful cathedral with a lot of history, but me personally, I still love the church in Altea, it took my breath away when I first entered...... Valencia Cathedral did not.

Rather than make 2 videos, I've combined the Cathedral and a little of Valencia into this video, to give you a small glimpse of both.
