Iv'e just returned and I used mine and they worked fine (better than in the USA, Carrabean etc). My hair did kink a bit and often I just got my friend to weave it. I still used them for my fringe though,I just looked at it when I first went out and then did'nt look again, so imagined it as it had been, not how it really was .

November must have been ok as my hair stayed straight after using my straighteners. Will see what happens in March 
we might have a jimmy hendrex look-a-like competition going on any volunteers

I went to Boots y/day and in preparation for the bad hair days bought some charles worthington hair rescue and leave in conditioner - their stuff is usually really good so will defo be put to the test in Goa lol!
For those of you who are old enough to remember I looked like Atara out of Atara's band (childrens tv programme in the 70's,bad curly feather cut)
our ghds worked absolutely fine in Goa, we also found the water soft and no hair probs or bad hair days at all to report
