trying to book this hotel for xmas 2008 and its impossible. Thomas cook flight fully booked and everywhere i look on the web all comes back to the Thomas cook flight. Its ridiculous. First choice have the flights but not the hemera hotel. Does anyone know of any other companies that do this hotel please. I have emailed the hemera to ask what the rates are for accomadation only and if they have any, can i book a flight with anyone else and if so who?

ive tried to book direct but they dont allow it even though they have prices , thomson , direct holidays and airtours now do the hemera as thomas cook own them now airtours that is , also cosmos do the hemera .and manos but not been on there website.

i would do more searches on the thomas cook website i found holidays from gatwick, manchester,from 23rd dec.

Thomas cook told me this morning no flight available as they only do the one for that date, and i have been on the sight and get the same thing

Tried portland and thomson. no good, finally we have booked with thomas cook going from manchester a 5 hour drive! But we did get a superior room in the price plus extra luggage alllowance now all i have to do is find an airline from stansted to manchester to save us the drive, any ideas anyone?

yes i think it just works for me using my cookies. well any way i found holidays from gatwick and manchester on the 23rd december to the hemera .im off on the 4th may for 2 weeks 4th visit in 2 years i cant wait it is the only place ive ever returned to.

As far as I know the turkish bath is free.
I've just come back from the Sunrise Queen hotel which if memory serves me right is next door to the Hemera hotel
i think from memory the turkish bath is free . i didnt go down but the wife had a couple of the massages now when we go its the first thing she does , says it helps with the suntan ,
No 2 week hols available from the 23/12 i have tried every agent i can think of and going paces said they could do it but they hadnt looked at the flight t that stage, of course when they did they found it was full and of course they have merged with thomas cook so it would be full! I think it stupid that they only put on one plane and with so many holiday companies being able to book it.
I called in Thomas Cook today for a price on the Hemera in May accomodation only and there was no availablity at all in the hotel.The 1 bed apartments were available for £1,900 plus supplements, plus flights!.It has become very popular but its not worth £1,900!
Have you looked at packages? Why are you looking for accom only? Surely it must be dearer that way....
I was advised to do this as the Thomson flights are better times from my airport and you get the proper allowance of 20kgs not the meagre 15kg that Thomas Cook allow.Another member had done this and got very good price.

What time are you required to check out on departure day?
How big is the indoor swimming pool?
Are ALL the apartments (or anyone who has experience of them) over three floors?
How soon is it recommended to book the 'once per week' restaurant? Before you fly? When you get there?

My daughter found some reviews on trip advisor which said if you stayed in the apartments there is a noisy bar nearby which keeps you awake until 5am. I have never read anything about this noisy bar in any review. We are not staying in the apartments but it surprised me because it was not the only one she read. I thought posters must of got the hotel name wrong with another hotel called a hera
