Hi, we are off to Calangute in a few weeks time, and have enjoyed reading the tips on here.
We are trying to find out how easy it is to get a taxi from Calangute to the Airport to get an early morning (6.40am) flight to Mumbai, and how much we should be charged.

hello ISF...a taxi to the airport from calangute should cost you no more than 650 ..to 700 rupees ....colleen
We usually book with a specific driver the day before. We have had no problems setting off for the airport at 3am. The driver knows he is guaranteed a good fair too. I agree with Colleen that the fair should be around the 700 rps mark.
yep 650 to 700 rps is about the right price. done it 7 times and some of those in the middle of the night, never been let down. if though your driver did let you down, there are usually taxi drivers outside the hotels all night.
