I'll probably get beaten up for this but I or my wife and daughter never got crocs for the simple reason, they looked like ****!

aw, mate , you sooo missed out on the comfort feet thing ! I accept they look crap, but you will never get a comfier pair of shoe, slipper thingies !

I got the mule type crocs(mock) as these dont look as clumpy,but are just as comfi.There is a photo somewhere on last years croc pages.
It will most certainly be flip flops for me.
I didnt like the crocs at all even if they were comfortable. Having said that, I wouldnt stop my daughter from wearing them though, but she's only got little feet and they do look a lot better the smaller they are.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't stop my daughter or wife wearing them if they wished it's just they thought they looked **** as well!
I still think they are perfect for a beach holiday 
I'll be taking my mock croc fancy ones to Tenerife at Easter, along with my Primark croc flip flops, but I'll probably get something new for Crete in August.
Cyber ,have you still got that photo of your crocs with the stones on them?I managed to get a pair last summer after seeing yours!

I like havainas flip flops, they are classic , I have got black ones with little Jamaica flags on which I bought in Montego Bay airport and gold limited edition ones, now i really fancy a red pair ..............

The people who bought them will look back in 10 years time saying I bought those ugly things. If it wasn't for the hollywood celebs wearing crocs they would of never took off which in my opinion would of been a good thing. They are so ugly.

I can see them being part ofmy holiday packing for years, so many advantages:
1, Light very very light (every ounce counts when packing)
2, Comfortable
3, Waterproof, wear them on land, on the beach and in the sea, dry agin in seconds

I was given a pair from my auntie (she got the wrong size) as comfy as they are I wouldnt wear them in public! They make great slippers though!

Nikmacuk,I loved the photos of your crocs on holiday!I have 6 pair but must confess they are mock crocs!I am going to treat myself to a real pair this year.I dont care what they look at as comfort is more important and they are great for my poor old knees as they take the impact when walking.
i'm afraid have to agree with shirley - it doesn't matter how comfortable and practical they are, i think they should definitely be left safely in 2007 and the back of your wardrobe - what's wrong with flip flops and canvas shoes?
