Great , that is just the info I need, as I am off to the Far East in July and I am starting and finishing my trip in Bangkok, I am lucky that I have the last day in Bangkok in Chatuchak market, which I am looking forwards to as I visited there once years ago , but I was with friends who do not like shopping :que and only stayed for about 40 mins, this time just me and my husband and we can spend hours there :D
I have been wanting to buy axe cushions for ages, can you cram them up quite small? have you any ideas of the price?? thanks, shirleyv

There is a very easy way to get pyramid cushions home. For this you'll need one pair of scissors and a family member at home who can sew.

1) Buy your cushions & return to your hotel room
2) Use the scissors to snip the seams and take out all the stuffing and throw it away
3) Fold cushions flat in your suitcase
4) On arrival home, send family member who knows what type of stuffing to use to the shop to buy some and get family member who knows how to sew to put stuffing into the cushions and sew them up.

Simple. (Thats what my Mum does to get them home.)

OK, so you paid over the odds, but I got one after I checked in in Duty Free. Costs THB500, but got one with my left over Baht, but I could take it on the plane and stick it in the overhead luggage, didn't carry it around much etc etc.

And of course it now sits round the house been practically useless.
