Average daytime temps are 20-21C, with approximately eight hours of sunshine per day and five or six rainy days in the month.Would stress however that these are averages and on the Algarve,as everywhere else,the weather is not totally predictable.

i was out last week in oct and first week in nov last year and we had waal to wall sunshine for the whole two weeks :sun2 even the covered pool was left uncovered temps were 27 degrees every day this was the exception though we are lucky ........s :rofl

Yes and now we are paying for weeks of good weather with heavy rain, tornados, howling winds etc etc!

Late October 2007 was excellent; on the 31st it was 71F/22C during the day and 53/12 at night.

But, as Sagres says, the averages can't be relied on but you can guarantee it will be a lot warmer than the UK.

talking of guia, i am coming out in 4 weeks time got to see if the "chicken" statue has landed yet in the middle of en125 round about :rofl it seems to be taking it's time !!!

we were out the third week of October last year and apart from rain the first evening we go there we were blessed with fine, warm weather.
