Hi we stayed in the Rosetta in march 2006.
We booked B&B but upon arrival we were given a suite right up the top of the complex, pool view very spacious, with lounge area, tv,cooking facilities, seperate large bedroom,2 balconies, and large bathroom, there were only 2 of us so we had loads of room.
Breakfasts were lovely the usual cereals, pastries, fruit etc, they did lovely omelettes, cooked fresh for you.
Only went into the disco once when we had a meeting with the rep in there the first day, looked a bit dated and tired looking, talking to other guests the disco tended to get a lot of russian holiday makers in there.

Hi Im wondering if anyone that has been to Hotel Tropicana Rosetta, how far from the airport it is and how much to expect to pay for taxi from airport to hotel. We have never been to Egypt and thought about a change from our usual Goa. Will there be plenty to do for 2 weeks (not snorkling) Are the bars and restaurants plentiful and with good food.
Many thanks.
