Tropicana Rosetta - Naama Bay.... Info...

Hiya

Just booked my mum up on a hol to this hotel going the 9th Dec - Read the one review on this site which is glowing - Any further info?? Where in Naama is it - is it central?

Also as a first timer there anything i should make her aware of - Already genned up on the Visa situ. They plan to do the Cairo trip so will tell them to get the visa at the airport - Noticed someone said they paid £120 for this trip is this the going rate?

Any info would be much appreciated - Oh and whats the weather like at this time??

Thanks Briar - not sure how i missed those reviews. The hotel seems ok - they got it at quite a bargain prices so expectations are not that high.

PS - Briar didnt realise you were a egypt expert aswell - you dont half get around :wink:

My mum is after a chill holiday, however her chap wants to see the 'sights' and as they are only there for a week dont think she will get much chilling time!! But they are really looking forward to it

has anyone stayed at the tropicana rosetta hotel in naama bay. We are going on 17th feb and would like to know what the hotel is like.

OK. I've now booked this.

Got a fantastic deal I reckon - 2 weeks end August worked out at £394 each for 2 of us!!!

I booked the flights through http://www.redseaflights.com (£256 each from Manchester) and booked the Rosetta through http://www.quickrooms.com (£138 each)

Emperor Divers is right next door so were going to do our PADI open water course there + a few more dives...

We are both VERY CHUFFED!!

Tropciana Rosetta

I too am going to the Tropicana Rosetta on 17 Feb and have heard mixed reviews about the hotel, but on the whole generally good. The only concern I have is whether it will be warm enough to sunbathe and get a tan? Does anyone know what the weather is like at the end of February, the reason I chose Egypt is because I thought the weather would be better than the Canaries.

I'm also going to the Tropicana Rosetta on 17th Feb. I've never been to Egypt before, and don't really know what to expect because no one I know has been here either - can anyone let me know what its like at night over there? Because I'm not planning doing much more than sunbathing during the day :lol:

Tropicana Rosetta

Going to Tropicana Rosetta in May for 2 weeks with my 6 year old daughter, any reviews on it before I go? Is there a kids club? Also whats the weather like end of May?

buildng work

we are due to go to the tropicana rossetta in 4 weeks time
just read a post on the hotl reviews and says it has building work

not had a letter from thomas cook to say this or to ask us if we wish to stay at another hotel seeing as the tropicana has building work

any ideas how bad it is or will we not notice it??

Tropicana Rosetta Hotel: Building works??

Hi Experts!

decided on a bed and breakfast hotel in Naama bay area and came across a great deal on the Tropicana Rosetta Hotel. read a couple of reviews and one mentinoed building works but does anyone know the extent of this? It seems a great deal and i epxect that migth be why.

Any alternatives around the 400 quid mark woudl also be apreciated.

When were the reviews ??

Were in Sharm in May at the Tropicana Grand Oasis and the shuttle bus dropped off here
We didn't see any building work then

BTW you can go to the beach at the TGO free which a lot of people did while we were there

About a month ago i think. we actually emailed the hotel and they have confirmed building work has now finished.

Rosetta tropicana

Hi I am staying here from the 4th Jan, never been before.
Anyone had any experiance of this hotel. I believe it has a private beach?
Is it any good for snorkelling?
Any other tips would be appreciated

This hotel is NOT on the sea from here you get the free shuttle to the Tropicana Grand Oasis and use their beach

Is anyone going to the Rosetta hotel soon?.I was offered the Tropicana Jasmine which I was told was a new hotel near to the rosetts but on the beach.I cant find any reviews or information other than on their website.If anyone sees it could you tell me where it is please.Thanks Jay.
