Cant help with josephs but if you go to any of the resturants when you arrive they will be glad to sort her one out asap.

the cake most proberbly came from sultans patiserie in fethiye you can get a cake there on the day you arrive they are open till at least midnight

You will have no problem wherever you go, you know what Turkish people are like - so eager to help. Just ask around when you get there (the hotel even or choose your restaurant and sneak in and tell them).

We had a birthday a couple of years back. It was one of my fellow passengers on a gulet trip for a week. We had only one day on land - a jeep safari excursion. We still managed to get a cake organised. Our guide on the jeep safari sorted it out for us (cos everyone knows everyone knows everyone - few mobile calls and job was done) and drove us to the bakery shop to pick it up before dropping us off at the end of the day after our safari.

You can't fault them, honestly.

Have you thought about taking a cake with you? You could buy a boxed one from M&S for example and pack it in your case. Then if you can't get hold of Joseph's beforehand you won't have to rush around the day you arrive. Both Joseph's (or any other restaurant) will happily lay on a party for you with your own cake (providing you eat their food of course!!! Oh........and drink their drink!
