Visited this hotel last August with hubby and 2 children (son aged 13 and daughter aged 11)

We all had a great time. It is not a huge complex - low rise apartments in very pleasant gardens, with one large-ish pool and a smaller paddling pool for the little ones. If I'm honest, we were a bit disappointed with the size of the pool, we're more used to large freeform pools, but you get used to it as the days go by.

There's a couple of pool tables, table tennis and two internet machines in reception.

There's also a multi-sport court, which the reps organise different activities on, including football, basketball etc.

The food was fine, plenty of choice, althought it did get a bit repetitive towards the end of the week. Breakfasts were not as good as we've had in the past.... but I arrived home a couple of pounds heavier, so it can't have been that bad!

The reps are really good, but not too pushy. There are plenty of activities thoughout the day if you want to take part, both in and out of the pool. The evening entertainment is average/casual - whatever the reps put together. No external acts came in while we were there.

Most of the guests seemed to be Irish.

My kids really enjoyed themselves - not being a huge place, they found it easy to find new friends. I would say that there is not really much to entertain older teenagers.

I would say that you really need to hire a car unless you're happy staying in resort for the whole holdiay. No local transport option that we were aware of. The complex is a good 10 minute drive from Es Cana. We hired a car at the airport and found this very reasonable.
