Hi,escana has a few shops but mainly selling typical holiday tat,st eulalia the next resort (2 mins in taxi)has loads of shops for retail therapy.escana has almost everything you could ask for from a small resort,bars,restaurants,nightlife(but not boom boom),if there is anything you need to know,just ask and i will try to help.

Thanks for the info and help. I will get in touch if needing any advice. It's the first time at this side of the island. Been to San Antonio Bay and Figueretes so counting down the day's for some sun and heat. Still got 12 weeks to go.

We are staying at Hotel Ereso for 2 weeks. Do you know anything about it, all the reports seem to be good. Just looking for a nice relaxing time in the sun. Clubbing days are over, been their done that got the t-shirt and all that. I am now medically retired after an accident at work a few years ago.

Weve stayed at the Ereso twice,lovely hotel with good food,only let down by the fact that the rooms have no air conditioning.Im led to believe thats why its only a 2 star and not a 3 as you would expect.Also i heard that its only a 2 star because one of the pools and its terrace have no disabled access,dont know if thats true.We went in August and the rooms really needed air con,I would think it will be the same in June.

I dont know why ??? comes up if you write con instead of conditioning

Hi wayne ... it is a word which can be used in a libelous manner and causes us problems, hence it is censored.

But when using it as an abbreviation of air conditioning, try aircon instead.

Hi wayne or anybody that has stayed here,

Can you please tell me what the dress code in restaurant is at night for evening meal, I normally wear 3/4 length tidy short's to keep cool. Don't like wearing dress trouser's in the heat. I know it's OK to wear shorts and t-shirt for lunch.

It's been a while since I last posted. I am still looking for the info I posted in my last message regarding dress code in Ereso. Just wanted to know with them cutting the case weight. Don't want to pack things I won't need.
