Shhhhsshhhh don't tell anyone but we finally found Gnejna Bay. We walked across the top of Ghanja Tuffieha Bay and looked down on Gnejna Bay then drove round to it. It is a lovely, unspoilt bay. Has anyone been during the summer? There were a few locals on it in Feb but I wondered what it was like later in the year. I think the Maltese keep this bay for themselves so keep it under your hat
We went in October 2 years ago and it was also quiet,only a handful of locals there.
Hi Charlie, yes this really is a lovely spot, however it can get very busy in summer especially at weekends, and yes the locals prefer to keep it as there little secret I don't blame them either so would I, this area is also really nice for a walk if you follow the road from Mgarr to Ghajn Tuffieha you come across the Roman Baths, carry on walking to Golden Bay and then swing a right towards Manikata and Xemxija it's a lovely walk.
