By road its 30 miles +/- 2 miles depending on which bit of Praia da Rocha and which bit of Albufeira.

There is a limited but direct bus service between the two with six buses each way on weekdays and four each way on weekends and holidays. I have a summary of the timetables on my website at http://www.algarvebus.info/002s.htm which I hope you will find useful.

One-way bus fare is €3.85; journey takes 50 minutes.
