Hello, Only just registered on this site so not really sure what i am doing yet!!!!!!!!! Booked to go to white sands in september have upgraded at hotel and flight a bit concerned i keep getting letters from first choice re changes to hotel would love to hear when anyone stays there!!!!

We have been to other carribean islands jamaica, dominican republic 4 times and cuba last year so hoping this year will be just as good.

Hi My Husband and I are booked in for the 3rd May which is when it re-opens. Like alot of you we have been looking for re-views of this village and the only comparison is the Octaginal. Wether this is the same one who really knows but we will keep you posted after our holiday. Lets hope it lives up to expectations.We have booked the Royal Suite and we too upgraded our flights and we upgraded the airport lounge with the add on that first choice advertise hope its worth it. I noticed there is someone going on the 11th May we will still be there then, we are flying from Gatwick. Hope you all have a great time. see you there. wendy

My husband and I also fly out from Gatwick on 3rd May for 2 weeks. We have also
upgraded our flights and have booked into a Royal Suite (now know apparently as Royal
Deluxe Rooms instead). Lets hope everything is up and running by then. Only 5 weeks
to go!!

We went to the dom rep HV last yr and upgraded but they had a few more extras and so would love to know if it is def worth doing this other than having a quiet area if you have no kids etc.

Contacted FC as a bit concerned about the lack of information about how the renovations are coming along. They have told me that the hotel is still scheduled to be open by the time I go (3rd May) but if this changes and they overrun they will let us know - doesn't exactly fill you with confidence when you have only just under five weeks until you go!!! If anybody else hears anything different please advise. Many Thanks

We are flying from Manchester and have been quoted £1400 for 2 adults and 2 kids (15&14) although It's possible that the 15 year old is now classed as an adult. I just wondered what price other people have been quoted (Or paid) for a similar sized family flying from Manchester.

We have been on SCP last september and paid about £240 to upgrade for 2 adults. I havent flown from Manchester on SCP or with a family of four but in my opinion I think that is quite expensive because that works out about £350 each. We are going on the 27th September and have upgraded this time and paid a silly price of about £60 each but we booked last October and I think FC mucked up their prices that day!!
As you are going soon, your price might not change and it might be a risk as Premier seats may go but I think the £350 each is a bit much
