i went away for 12 nights (not two weeks) and stayed in the hotel arenal in san antonio at the end of July, early august at a cost of £500 for a double room on bed and breakfast (not half board as i originally said), flights were £65 each so a total of around £630, booked my flights through jet2 from Leeds. the cost of the holiday through package deals would have been an further £500 on top of this, having said that I no longer compare my diy prices to package deals as although cost is an reason, the main reason is flexibility and choice for me.

Of course if you add ancilliarys such as cost of getting to the airport, airport parking, taxis to and from ibiza airport and possibly car hire then this would make it a bit more.
