We live 3 k (Permanent Residents here in turkey ) from the Lara Beach and all the hotels. We are staying there next week ( Concorde ) for a couple of nights so I will post a report when I get back. There is not much at all outside the hotels and as somebody else said you really need to go into Antalya. There is a DolmuÅŸ ( local bus ) that will take you into Antalya centre and at the princely sum of 1.15 Turkish Lira each way.Reception will tell you the times. If you go into Antalya you must go to Kalecei which is the old city. It's a great place to visit with lots of Bars and Restaurants etc. Enjoy your holiday in a Fabulous Country.

Hi All,
It's probably sold out.... Have you booked already? The hotels on Lara Beach are getting increasingly popular with the English and they have probably sold their quota. The Larespark (where we are going next week ) no longer is on their website but I know for a fact it is fully booked (through First Choice) throughtout the season. Hope this helps. Denny
hi i am thinking of booking the concorde for next year has anyone been and what is the evening entertainment like. we are trying to persuade my son inlaw to go but he gets bored easily and he likes to watch shows and keep busy any information would be great thanks denise
We went to the Concorde in Sept 06. The entertainment was actually very good. My review is on hotel review page. Denny
thanks denny it sounds lovely its between concorde and titanic denise
I have been to both hotels. Both were excellent. The Titanic caters more for children and the Concorde more for adults. All the hotels on Lara Beach are luxury 5* and there is not a lot to choose between them - other than price of course! I'm sure you will love either of them. We are going to yet another, the Larespark on the 29th of this month. Can't wait. Denny
Contacted First Choice to question why this hotel was no longer being featured for Sept 08 - advised that it is possibly (?????) down to "contract disputes" - anyone able to shed any light ?
Thanks
Visiting Concorde in Sept 08 - looked for furthur places when some friends of ours were thinking of joining us - hotel was no longer featured - contated First Choice who told us it had been "withdrawn due to contractual reasons" - can anyone shed any light for us ?
Thanks to all
no sorry cant but can tell you both cosmos and thomas cook do the concorde in lara if thats any help
Thanks June,
My family are going to the Concorde for 2 weeks at the end of September. My Mum is coming with us and she suffers from arthritis and has difficulty walking. Can you please let me know if this hotel is suitable for disabled people.
Thanks
Is there another of these hotels as our Concorde Resort is listed as Antalaya? The reviews for our hotel are here
Hi Glynis
Why not send them an e-mail, the staff are excellent and will help all they can.
It is a short transfer to the hotel, around 20mins so that will help your mum too.... The resort itself is very flat, but the pavements do have a few holes in them, so she would need to take care outside of the hotel.
The hotel has everything you would want and we only went out once to explore!!
The hotel does have wheelchairs available for hire if you did want to go out...
You will have a great time there, we certainly did.!!
Denny
Thanks so much Denny, that has really put my mind at ease. Sounds like you had a great holiday
We had a fantastic holiday. A true 5* ultra all inclusive.... You will have a great time and September is a lovely month to go.
I am off to the Concorde Resort in August with my 10 year old son; I am worried that there won't be enough to keep him happy.
Can someone let me know what is there for children?
Also what were the women wearing out in the evenings, was it a very dress up in the evenings sort of hotel?
Thanks a lot Suzie
There is a small kiddies pool with slides, bowling (free), kiddies clubs, animation shows, archery, shooting (can do these as long as a parent is present), the beach with loads of watersports, several swimming pools etc etc. Fab beach party and fireworks on a Friday.
Lots of people dressed up for dinner, it's such a lovely hotel, it is a shame not to.
Denny
