Going to Salou in two weeks and just wondered if anyone could tell me the euro rate to the pound at the moment in Salou.
Pretty grim here about 1-22 at the post office.
As of 3rd April 2008.......1.13 at the hotel 
- between 1.18 and 1.22 
in the town. We took money out at the cashpoint and got 1.26 with our banks standard £1.75 fee

their rate is usually better than Post Office. No commision either but you have to pay postage. I've ordered from them a few times and it's always been delivered when they say.

I've used OnlineFX, but prefere http://www.crowncurrencyexchange.co.uk as they don't charge postage on amounts over £500.
I get a daily email of exchange rates from http://www.xe.com to monitor rates.

I always used to use Travelex and pick it up at the airport.
Unbelieveingly they have closed their shops at the two main "low cost airlines" bases,Luton and Stansted!

I don't normally take that much cash, about £300. But all my shopping goes on my credit card and if I need some more then I go to an ATM and get it. I have found that Travelex exchange rates are lower than most other places.
I can't believe how low it is at the moment though. This time last year it was 1.44.
