ftv- do you want to say where you were when you bought these prawns?(good for future reference)

FTV we had exactly the same thing happen to us when we were staying at Rockbites on Ashvem Beach 3 yrs ago.

We didn't bother to negotiate a price because we know the fella that owns the place and we were massivley over-charged. When we complained he just couldn't understand what our point was. As far as he was concerned the price was what ever he could get for the prawns, there was no such thing as a going rate and it was our fault for not negotiating first.

Just had to put it down to experience, we still rent huts off of him but usually take a stroll along the beach to eat or drink as a result.

Reminds me we also had a funny experience with fish fingers there but that's another story
