when we went to marmaris previously we got the usual bumph from Thomsons about there tours ( all the companies are the same at the end of the day)
the tours looked good but where a rip off.
we found on the first day a little shop by the name of Mr travel (or something similar) situated near harbour area of marmaris just where palm trees start coming from ischmeler end of town.
the guy was freindly and spoke perfect english with files all about the same tours many with photo's etc.
we booked a few to start with but were so impressed that we ended up booking all through him. we even got a discount later @10-15% for frequent use and for helping to get more trade via word of mouth.
we were dubious at first but as it turned out they use the same companies and tour guides as all the top holiday companies, hence when we went on a two day trip to ephesis and pumukalae with overnight accomodation included we were on same coach as guests from thomson's, first choice, thomas cook etc but much to their annoyance had only paid round about 605 of the ammount they had as we were cutting out the middle men (the reps) as said they use the same agents.
in brief use them, theyre far cheaper (and have the same insurence and cover etc).
