I know I've posted on here before re the belgium beer festival, but I'm having no luck finding out much information.

I've got an idea about the itinery but nothing about the area. I.E prices of local beers and food when not in the festival. Obvioulsly if anyone can advise on anything about the festival that would be appreciated too.

Can anybody advise me.

Which festival is it, and where are you staying? Knowing that, we might be able to offer some specific help...

The festival is at Ostend but i'm not sure yet where we are staying. It was a christmas present from our sons and we don't get the itinery until 2 weeks before we leave. It was booked with Gold crest holidays if that helps?

Might I suggest you contact the Ostend Tourist Office or see if they have anything on their website.

Now we're getting somewhere! From the Gold Crest website, you will be visiting the Diksmuide beer festival. The website is http://www.beerfestival.be/
You'll be staying in Ostend (Ooostende in Flemish), which has lots of places to eat & drink. The Ostend tourism website is here: http://www.toerisme-oostende.be/index.phtml?pageid=749&languageid=3
and has lots of info on all sorts of stuff.
I'd suggest you have a look at these, and then come back with anything you want cleared up, and we'll see what we can do
