Well if you check the reviews on TripAdvisor and MyVacationguide every single one says this place is terrible,and they go into great details to support that description.
I don't think every one of them can just be hypercritical, and I don't think the nationality of the reviewers matters, it sounds awful.
You can't say you weren't warned though.

I know what you mean about reviews but every one of them is bad then I would definitely reconsider. Have you already booked or do you have other options? (Lucky you- New Orleans is brilliant 
)
