Not really been bothered by spiders but some of the other wildlife can be a problem. First time we went the pedaloes on the hotel lake were all chained up and unavailable. When we asked why we were told that a 6 foot alligator had managed to get into the lake (it was fenced off) and until it had been caught and removed the lake was out of bounds!

The next time we went we had been to the late firework show at EPCOT. We were in a long queue for the monorail to get back to the car park. My eldest is interested in all creatures and suddenly yells with delight "Look dad, a snake" and points into the bush adjacent to where we are queueing. Suddenly we are alone in the queue as everyone else scatters!

In the same holiday we were sitting by the pool at the hotel when a 4 foot long green snake fell out of a tree onto the grass close by. Again my boy moves closer when everyone else is going in the opposite direction!

Not technically a creepy crawly but we had gone back to the car poark for a pic nic and were sitting on a small bit of grass under the monorail track. In the middle of the grass was a gully presumably to drain the water from the tarmac when it rained. It was about 2 foot across and not very deep. We were throwing crusts to a couple of moorhens on there when huge fish (must have been 2 foot long at least), tried to take one of the birds! We couldn't ebelive something so big would live in such a small bit of water (especially as it must dry out fairly regularly).
