The Alba is a Fantastic Hotel, I have stayed there several times and I have never been disappointed. The only thing I would say though for my own personal taste the restaurant was not upto much, but to eat out is very reasonable. The Cafe Del Mar which is attached to the Alba does a fantastic coffee and frappe. The location of the hotel is ideal, you could not get a hotel any more central,

As Bonski says the Alba is an excellent hotel, we've stayed in it once but friends have been a few times and i can only recommend it.
Nice good size clean rooms,in a very central location it has everything going for it.
one downside we have seen is that over the last few years the hotel has kept being extended but the pool area is still the same, meaning it's very difficult to get a bed anytime after 10:00 or even earlier.
