We used them for our airport trnasfer a couple of years ago and were very happy. We didn't try any of thgeir trips, but if what we experienced was anything to go by, I'd reccomend them.

Hi Midori.
Thanks for that.
I noticed they accept "Paypal", so I'd better get started selling some stuff on Ebay! :rofl

we booked all our trips with him. there is no ned to pay in advance. email to say when you are arriving and they will contact you back to arrange to collect you from your hotel. they will take you to their office, and martin will show you his licence, insurance etc. he will go through all the trips that you fancy/recommend to you or even make one up for you if you want.

Hi care bear.

Many thanks for the info.

Macca, the company has a website. It's http://www.isairatours.com
and plenty of info can be found there.

I can highly recommend Isaira Tours. Martin and his team are so friendly and professional. I booked two trips with him for a large group (around 25 people) and both were great.

As I had checked him out thoroughly before we went, I did not need to go to his office to see the insurance certificates etc.

He kindly came to the hotel to collect all our monies and issue us with receipts. He is most honest and trustworthy.

He will also tailor any excursion to suit your wishes/needs.

We did a morning in trucks seeing the countryside with quite a few stops. We had lunch in the most fantastic setting, the scenery at this ranch place was extraordinary. In the afternoon we climbed 7 waterfalls, an experience not to be missed.

Our second trip was a Porto Plata city tour, taking in the Brugal Factory, Amber Museum, Old Fort and lunch right outside his office. After lunch we went to Sosua and Confresi beaches, where we watched the surf kiting and had time to snorkel. I remember the price of these trips was really reasonable.

David,
We have 6 weeks until we return to the Dom Rep. This time we are trying Riu Bambu in Bavaro, once again I have booked a couple of trips independantly hopefully they turn out to be as good as Isaira.
There are 54 of us, so we have chartered a catamaran for the day, really looking forward to this trip in particular.
Have a great holiday!
