Hi there, do you have card cover for lost or stolen cards?? If so, you are usually covered for an emergency loan, you may also have cover as part of your travel insurance. The only other options I can think of are: to have the money in a joint account so that two people would have a card and you could still access the cash, ensure you have at least two days funds so that you can keep going whilst the emergency money comes through (if you are covered) or take some of it in travellers cheques so you can access it if there is a problem.
