You'd be hard pressed to find a shop that didn't sell them! You can buy small, medium and large sized ones.

Hi kiltman - just a little tip if you do buy one - remember that you can take these to pieces and pack in your suitcase to bring back home. So often I have seen people struggling back with them - especially the big ones - perhaps not realising that they can be dismantled. Jenny x

We are going with an other couple and my mate always said he was going to buy one when we were in Egpyt but didn't, so I will buy him one in Tunisia

If we are going in to a cafe bar for a smoke of a pipe roughly what price should we pay ?
When we were in Egypt (Luxor) the first time we got ripped off, we didn't know how much it cost for a smoke and paid £20
This year in Sharm we paid £1.50 and it was refilled for free.

If you go into a local coffee bar - frequented by the locals rather than the tourists - the coffee will cost you about 300 mill. and the shisha about the same - go to the tourist places and pay the earth! Should perhaps just mention that Tunisian ladies are not normally seen in the local coffee bars, although female tourists would be tolerated. (It being assumed that we don't really know any better!)
