Fly out in 12 days to Icmeler. I see the hot days are already here with 30*+ temps but wondered if those warm sticky nights are about to happen..or is it still cool on a night?
Soon find out i suppose!
The evenings are getting warmer now, but not sticky yet. It's lovely. Well it is in Turunc.
i can't wait to go on my jollies, i don't care if it is sticky at night, as i can't stand the cold. i really shouldn't live in the uk
Then don't!
if only Jobey
Yeah, I love England, but I still moved to turkey. England's a great place to visit.
There must be some things you miss. Make us feel better by telling us what they are. (Or convince us all to follow you out there)
Chivers Old English Marmalade, Crunchy nut cornflakes, english tea and airshows. Not necessary in that order.
Don't you miss family Jobey
im jus wonderin if anybody has been to turkey in oct and if so what is the weather like as i have just got back from a wk in turkey on the 19th may and booked up again for the week startin th 20th of oct the last week of the season and courious of what the weathers goin to be like it would be great if anyone could help thanks xxxx
Only when I'm short of money. They're spread all over the place so it was difficult to see them regulary. I tend to make a point of seeing most when we visit. Usually takes about 2 weeks to travel the length and breadth of the UK.
hiya geordienat... ive been in marmaris for the last couple of years during october, and although most days have been warm, it was quite chilly in the evenings, also the further into october we got, the wetter it became!
message regarding weather in October. Depends on where you intend going?
We have a website, but they wont let me post it here. Its http there is no www bit then its begonvilla followed by a dot then webng followed by a dot com. Hope that makes sense. Leave a message on the guestbook and Lea will get back to you.
Can't send pm for some reason. Don't like this board.
With regard to October weather. I often go then, usually to the Bodrum - Marmaris region. I have always been lucky with days around 20 -25 and evenings just needing a light jacket. Last year we didn't even need a blanket on the bed at night. The sea is still warm then too. You could be unlucky and get rain then though.
Has anyone been in September over the last couple of years as i haven't been since 2005, we where there from 18th september - 2nd october and it was lovely the whole time. going on the 10th September this time, any help will be great
i am guessing i will take a cardy/light jacket as when we leave it will be cold at 3am.....this end.....
when we arrive back it will be evening in the uk so , i think a cardi will be a good idea. mind you might need a cardi this end. after all it is england!
thanks every1 that has been great help we are booked up again to go back on the 20th oct so keepin my fingers crossed it will be warm ive just got bk from there in may and if it wasnt for my job ad move out there straight away
The only problem geordienat is that the weather changes dramatically after October. From November until around March many areas are cold and often wet. If you decided to live in a tourist area many almost shut down during the winter. Many houses are not built for winter use so you could be pretty nippy. I often go in February. It's nice for a week and the stormy seas are great to watch but I have to wrap up well and there's no central heating in my house - or any of them for that matter.
