Would you consider a different airport?

Don't know if this is of any help but here goes....

If you could go from Coventry airport to Faro with thomsonfly on Friday 4th July, returning one week later, the flights work out at £469.72.

Then there is a 2 bedroomed apartment in Praia Da Oura Albufeira, advertised with ideal-spaces dot com (written this way incase it gets deleted for posting a link) reference number CBT2AF for €650 which at the rate offered by fairfx dot com today works out at £520, just a bit over your max.

I don't know if the apartment is available, or what it's like, (was looking at it for a friend) but I do know the area as we stay there each year.

On the opening page it says for 2 - 3 people, but when you click on the apartment and look at the details,
it says 2 adults and 2 children max.
The price just a bit cheaper at €595 which works out at todays exchange rate from fairfx dot com at £480.00
which is just £49.72 over your total limit of £900.

I have also seen this apartment advertised on the web, but I don't know what it's like or where it is.

The price for 7 days in July is quoted as £330, which is cheaper again.
(Total price of £799.72 by my calculations.)

Portugal may not be what you want, but I just thought that the above apartments might be worth a look.

Give travel republic a go. Having taken a quick look at the Costa Blanca (never been but short flight) there are loads that fall within your budget, with a Doncaster Flight on 3rd July. If you don't fancy that just search through the different regions, I'm sure you will find something.
