just 11 days till we arrive in asena again, getting really excited now, anybody else going on the 15 july
Just after, July 18th
we are staying bed and breakfast, dose anyone know if you can upgrade to half board when you are there and how much it costs?
yeah you can upgrade when your there, food is lovely think its about £8/ £10 per person children half price or free. (always a deal to be done). This is for a 3 course buffet meal returning as much as you like. Stayed in this hotel a few times its a lovely hotel lovely staff, but the rooms could do with an upgrade. They have got plans to upgrade, they are also adding a waterpark and a new swimming pool but wheather these will be done this winter i dont know. They have finnished their new hotel in lara beach now so they should start spending money on asena village. Thats the plan anyway.
Hi - Got a good price for Asena Village in July 2 adults and 2 kids - only problem is it says twin4 room - and I cant work out if this means they will try and put the four of us in one room or if we will have adjoining twin rooms. Tried to find out info on various webpages but too no joy. Anyone stayed here? Any help appreciated. Definitley don't want to be seperated from kids
a twin4 sounds to me like its one room that will fit four.
Cheers Kath -that helps me make a decision x
Info here Katwin on their room layout. Also contact details (just incase you want to check what you are booking )
they have rooms that sleep 3 ,4 5 and we had 6 in our room last year you wont be separated dont worry its a really friendly hotel
I have answered this question elsewhere this week. There are family suites at the Asena Village, two bedrooms with a bathroom and sometimes a small kitchenette. Email them and enquire. Well worth going, it's a friendly place in a good location.
We stay in private villas now works out about the same price.
Cheers for all your help - have emailed them to ask what room we would get. holiday would be so much better if we had 2 rooms - always give kids bedroom and we end up arguing on the sofa beds!!!!
you can always ask if you can hire a second room adjoing if they have one
Also whilst on the subject does anybody know if the Thomsons kids club will let my 3 year old son in even though we didnt book with Thomsons?? Im sure they will if we have to pay but just thought I would check.
Failing that does anybody know if the hotel has its own hotel run kids club that may cater for my 3 year old??
Thank you so much in advance.
Redcrop xx
Entertainment :
Here at the Asena Village Hotel, we pride ourselves in the wide and varied selection of entertainment that we offer to all of our guests.
Providing a relaxing atmosphere during the day by the pool wÃâ€ΕΎÃ‚±th noise levels kept to a minimum, our entertainment team are instructed to invite guests to take part in a selection of different activities.
Starting from the more simple entertainment of kids clubs for toddlers to quizzes karaoke and Bingo for adults.
I don't think Thomson's will allow your child in as it could be something to do with their insurance (always worth asking them though)
Here's a link to the kids entertainment:- http://www.asenavillage.com/eng/kidsentertainment.htm
thomsons wont let your child join if your not with thomsons. asena do have a kids club mostly in high season which is next to thomsons where your child can come and go most of the day, not so orgainised as thomsons though. they do have big plans for asena, a new swimming pool where the kids clubs are then a water park in the fields behind the swimming pool it wont be there this year though, been in the planning for the last couple of years, but turkish thoughts, could be another few years yet....
Great place, went last year and have booked again for July.
How far is it to the beach and is it safe to get there ,ie pavements?
Is it easy to get around the pool on the day ,or do you have to get up at stupid a clock to grab a bed ?Also is it relaxed during the day or are the staff in your face ?
I am wanting a relaxing holiday throughout the day but close enough to restaurants and bars for the evening time.
Thanks for any information .
Hisaronu is about 4km from the beach but there are dolmus's(local bus)that run every 10 minutes and cost about 60p each way.
The Asena itself is about a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Hisaronu and when we were there(June) you had no trouble getting a sunbed round the pool.
