Availability, date to departure, amount of interest shown in that particular holiday.
The days that you look at holidays also has a bearing, weekends and public holidays prices are higher due to the fact that is when people tend to traditionally book a holiday.
Also worth clearing cookies on you computer as this can have an effect on the price you see, this is particularly important when looking at certain companies sites, Easyjet, Manos and many more companies use those cookies to push the price up on your subsequent visits to the site.
Also the rising cost of fuel will also have a bearing on the price of holidays, these rises have to be passed on to customers.
How do I clear cookies as I think this is a very interesting situation.
Right click on your internet explorer icon go to properties
Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.
Under Cookies, click Delete cookies, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete them.
Click Close, and then click OK.
Warning if you delete cookies you will have to login again to any website you are automatically logged into, like this site
Lynn
Tools from the top menu, then Delete Browsing History and then Cookies (or everything).
Another area where Cookies can mess you about is that some badly designed sites (and there's one airline I can think of!) sometimes leaves a cookie when it says whatever you've just tried to do can't be done, come back later. The problem is the cookie tells the system that you can't try again!!
Always delete them if you've done a booking and used your card number, it helps protect against malicious software pciking up on the details.
