SPENDS !!

Hi, I know this is a hard question to answer, but I was wondering approx how much spends you think I will need to take, this is my first visit to Turkey.

We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children ages 12 and 10, we are staying in Club Aida self catering for two weeks with friends of ours and their kids.

We are having a lazy holiday, probably wont go on any trips, as kids just want to stay round the pool. We will more than likely eat out for breakfast and evening meal, and then go out for the night round the family bars.

Any rough ideas will be appreciated

sorry i can't answer i am in the same boat as you so to speak some people reckon £12-£1500 depending on what you do hope you get an answer soon

It really is a difficult question to answer. Myself, hubs and one teenage boy spend approx £100 per day, most of which goes on food and drink (although we dont drink much alcohol). But i am not very good with budgeting so i am certain it could be done cheaper. Days we went on trips we spent LESS because trips are really good with everything in apart from drinks/ice creams. Boat trip is a very cheap day out.

I would say take enough for £100 a day too. I think we spent about that much last time we went too, although we did loads of shopping and my husband sent some money to his family so maybe you wont need that much.

hi oh olly,
not been home long from icmeler,myself with partner and our two girls aged 13 and 14,we stayed b/b,we was eating out every day,breakfast,light snack during the day then an evening meal plus booze (lots of lol)our total spend was around £1800 and we never went on any trips,some may feel thats too much, some may say thats not to bad,i'll go along with the latter.hope this helps. :cheers

the bfigure which have been given seem very fair, it is all down to what you like doing and how much you eat and drink, but whatever you don't spend either change up and bring home or just save it for your next vist to turkey :sun2

Normally about £100 per day, but a lot depends on, what & how much you drink.

i just came back from a week in icmeler family 4 children age 12 and 9 who both eat adult meals,had snacks at lunchtime including drinks no trips aprox £100 to £120 a day

It is a very difficult question to answer. It depends mostly on your eating and drinking habits. My wife and I always budget for about £100:00 a day if we are b&b, when we go AI we budget for about £50:00 a day. There is no doubt that we could manage with much less than this but we like to have a good time and we are not shy about having a few vodka's for myself and a few bottles of my wifes favourite wine.

We took about £50 a day for an AI holiday, plus we put about £300 of trips on a credit card.

So I guess you would need a minimum of £100 per day for SC possibly more.
