Hi all,
Does anyone know of any photographic places to visit, such as ruins and old traditional villages? or natural sights such as waterfalls, mountains, scenery, landscapes etc. or any other photographic area ideas.
Any ideas would be great. Thanks. Rebecca
The drive up, around and down the mountain to Formentor presents some stunning scenery and then leads you to a beautiful beach backed by a pine forest. ( I did it on a bus, don't sit at the front if you're scared of heights. )
Some great photo opportunities at the monastery at Lluc and more stunning mountains.
You might like to research Valldemossa another monastery and the quaint little train that travels through some beautiful countryside from Palma to Soller.
There is so much to see, I just hopped on a bus and always found something.
As SilverPixie says the photographic opportunities are endless, the Tramuntana Mountain area would provide many including the monastery at Lluch, Cuber reservoir and Gourg Blau, Sa Colabra and TheTorrente De Pareis, the village of Fornalutx claimed to be the most attractive in Spain, Port De Soller with the trams, the list just go's on and on, and I am sure that you could spend a week in Palma alone taking photo's.
Enjoy,
Dave
My hubby loves Palma for photographs, he has even won a competition at his photo local club with a pic of Palma cathedral. CBG
Pollensa and the steps of Calvari always a must as the views from the top are magnificent
And from the sanctuary at the top of Puig Maria just outside Pollensa
Rebecca, if you take a look through the Mallorca photo album
Thanks everyone, we've added all the ideas to our tomtom. We're counting down the days now
The sea in the last photo looks like liquid gold, stunning, thanks for sharing them Robbo.
