Just got back from CT early hours this morning and I wanted to share my recommendations with you all.
The best beach to go to is the Playa Bastian beach, which is smaller and nowhere near as crowded or windy as La Cucharas. The sand is a bit darker but it's a far nicer beach. Nobody minds you going topless either!
There are a few really nice bars but the ones that really stand out are
The Orient Express, really chilled out place with comfortable sofas, a good looking barman and great decor (San Miguel on tap for 1.50E as well and you cant beat that)
Ryan's Bar, great Guinness memorabilia and they show ITV live so great if you're a Formula 1 fan.
Don't miss the german bar right next door to the Apartamentos Nazaret either (Tischlein Deck Dein I think), the girl who owns it is lovely, always happy, smiling and friendly despite sometimes being there from 1st thing in the morning til late at night. We went there to watch the Germany v Turkey game and it was a great atmosphere. They also serve the best coffee in the whole resort!
Foodwise, we ate at La Pardela the first night and had heard good things, but we were really disappointed, the food was tasteless and the steak was tough as old boots!
Ryan's bar does great toasted sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
The Orient Express burgers are really good and so big I had to uses a knife and fork to eat mine as it was falling apart everywhere!
La Patio do really good (huge) pizzas, and the spaghetti carbonara was great too.
The breakfasts at the german bar/cafe are great, and their burgers are also to die for. I really cannot praise that place enough!
I hope this will help people who may be going to CT soon.
Reckon it will There is not so much written about restaurants in Costa Teguise! Glad you had a good holiday!
Was in Ryan's last year, nice bar and good food.
One other place I forgot to mention was House Chou, which do a very good 3 course chinese meal for 6.50E.
Smashing! Thanks very much!
Thinking of going to Hotetur Lanzarote Bay @ end sept as it has just reopened after refurb, any recommendation
