Hi, my family and myself will be going to Benidorm for the first week in November. We have never been to this part of Spain before, could anyone tell me what the weather is likely to be like, and what type of clothing we will require ?

We were there last November and the weather was brilliant, sunny and very warm. Although you can't count on this as it does vary at that time of year, and to be honest we were lucky. I would take a mix of clothing, I personally don't think you will need really warm stuff, but a cardigan/light jacket for evenings, a thin sweater as well as summer stuff. Being November you will probably be travelling with a warm jacket from the UK, so you will have that to fall back on. Hope this helps, Linda.

I´ll have you know, i´m being very sensible and drinking lots of water....during the Day!!!! Its been an absolute scorcher today, drank 2 1.5ltr bottles water on the beach and still thirsty! Will have to dilute that with some alcohol tonight though!!

hi the weather is so unpredictable we were in Benidorm in August last year and it rained hard for several days. The water was coming through the ceiling of our room. The hallway was also flooded outside our room. Glad you are having better weather than that Taggy. I always blame northantsj for bringing the rain but she didnt go on that holiday so it must be me. carol
Yep Caroll the weather has been superb this week, just got home, and want to go back!!...Had quite a few clouds just on Tuesday, but was very welcome by then as its been really baking hot. Was talking to a cafe owner who said it was 46c in his kitchen the other day! Imagine preparing a fry up in that heat!!!!

Last night it thundered, lightened and hammered it down with rain from about midnight til 2am!!! But it was lovely and cool after!! Today it´s been back to sunny and hot again.

Phew, its even hotter today!Walked down to the supermarket and one of the thermometers above the pharmacy was reading 36 degrees - and that was this morning!
Must dash - the pool beckons again!
