We returned from Benidorm in the early hours of this morning, so like most people I guess, the week before we went, I looked at the weather forecast for the time we were to be there mostly via Yahoo Weather and as also pointed out by andy29uk the forecast was awful with rain and sometimes thundery showers forecast for almost every day that we were due to be there, but as I'm sure andy29uk will also verify every day was almost total blue skies and never saw one drop of rain the whole week. So it makes me wonder in future is it worth taking any notice of any forecasts provided by the online weather forecasts sites.
Obviously I'm not complaining about the weather we had,it really was fantastic, but just wondering has anybody else encountered such differing forecasts with their holiday weather forecasts.
Have you ever known the UK forecasters to get it right? I don't think so, despite the scientific equipment available.
You are right the weather was wonderfull 5 mins rain in 6 days 5 out of 6 days sunshine from start to finish the other day it took till about 11 to come out..The forcast was really bad how they can get it so so wrong iv no idea!!

We were there the week before you, and according to one of the weather sites, we were to have rain 8 days out of the 9 we were there. It rained one afternoon, for about an hour! I can't understand how they get it so wrong either- it was blazing hot the days we were there. In future I wont even be looking at them before we go - A total waste of time!

Cannot get the pontiente webcam on is it just me or is anyone else having trouble, levante one is okay

One thing I can see wrong with that camera rosie is that it is not updating or refreshing as often as it should. All the others are refreshing every few seconds, but the image on that one is currently 20 minutes old:

I'm off to Benidorm on 5th December for 3 days with work - Christmas Do
but I have no idea what to pack with me!
We will be arriving midday ish on the Friday & leaving early hours of Sunday morning so will only be around for Fri afternoon, Fri evening, Sat day & Sat night.
I need to travel light (hand luggage only - what is the weight limit?!) so was hoping to wear something there & back appropriate for in the day & take an outfit for the evenings.
Im thinking I shouldnt need a coat but will need a long sleeved top? I'm not expecting it to be very hot during December! lol! But I have no idea how 'cool' it may be....

It´s lovely at the moment, 20C during the day. About 9C at night. We were out sleeveless last night and got funny looks from people with jackets fastened up to the neck, but then we´re hardy Scots and not soft Southerners.

Arrived on Saturday and had lovely weather until yesterday when it rained most of the day, but was dry in the evening. Heavy rain this morning has cleared to a sunny afternoon, around 17C.

Yep, I know Taggy, been watching it on Sky and it looks like we´ll be driving up right into it. Haven´t had a cardi on since I got here.
Been up since 4.45 this morning when I woke in agony with a sore throat and couldn´t get back to sleep. Waited for the sunrise which didn´t really happen, but it´s another lovely sunny day if a little cool when we got up and out the back of 8.

There were people on the beach in bikinis the other day. Today has been really warm sitting on the balcony. Hubby is sunbathing there now. Just get a sheltered spot.
