hi,
we are staying in the mirador del atlantico for two weeks on 18th august. cant wait!!
just wondering what amadores itself is like for eating out/entertainment for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 3. or are you better going in to puerto rico? are the shops/resteraunts along amadores beach open of a night? also any advice on good trips for the kids would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance
There are plenty of other bars and restaurants along Amadores beach.
Also you could get a taxi up to the Europa centre which is only a few euros thats is a ncie family orrientated centre with some nice restaurants chion canton, el brassero (steak place ) are both nice food.
In the europa centre there are trampolines for the kids.
Both europa and Amadores have mini golf, you also have waterparks i think the better one is meant to be in Maspalomas.
Enjoy
thank you very much for the advice cant wait to go. seven weeks and counting!!!
El Brassero is a must if you like MEAT in large portions as this is a restaurant that asks you how big you want your steak ! Me I'm just a total meatie so my steak was like this
Though we preferred the Chinese restaurants in the Main Commercial centre but don't forget a true taste of home is Ma Bakers Cornish Pasties at the Escala Harbour
youve made me hungry now!!!!! thank you so very much for the advice
cafe del mar, bistro salsa (best baguettes ever!) Ciao Ciao (but ive gone off it alittle of late) Beach club all at Amadores.

Found the Beach Club pretentious and Expensive when we were there
Found one of the breakfast Places in Europa cheap and cheerful but for the life of me can't remeber the name it's one of the bars on the downhill side , bottom level near Extreemz -- btw still the cheapest place for an afternoon drink say Hi to Ceri for us
Also portofino is great on amardores.
