Beach, not sunbed beaches
My one exception to that is that I like to have a stroll to the sea early morning on my own but again only if the hotel is there .
Much prefer the pool , cant stand the sand getting in those certain areas , also too many kids about (done that been there). Love to wake up looking out the balcony and choosing our spot in the sun.
Definately the pool for us- even the kids aren't great beach lovers. We all like a walk down the beach and a swim in the sea but that's as far as it goes. However I do like to sit and look out over the beach, there's something so calming about watching the sea. In Mexico a couple of years back I would go down and sit before everyone was up and it was so peaceful.
Depends how warm the sea / pool is! Whichever is the warmest I prefer the beach so I can go snorkelling but as long as it's not too busy. I like both really, it's nice to have a 'pool day' then a 'beach day'.
Now the kids are older I'm a pool girl. No sand in my bits and all my creature comforts readily available!
Deffo pool here cant do with sand stuck all over
No preference really. Our hotel this year was directly on the beach and do you know what, we didn't venture on it once!!! Although we did go to a few when we hired the car.
Both for me, love having a pool day then a beach day, plus you get to see a lot more different people on the beach
Now there's just the 2 of us, the beach every time.......the further away from the rabble, the better
Sanjiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
There aren't many things that you and I agree on Sanji but this is one of them! There 's no need to worry about who is or isn't bagging the sunbeds when there aren't any to be bagged and you've got loads of room to choose where to spread your towel out!
The pool definetly.I cant stand getting everywhere and sticking to the sun cream!
either it really depends on whether we have any other plans for the day
This holiday (only been back 5 days but it feels like a lifetime away ) we spent 5 out of the 7 days around the pool and only 1 day on the beach. We did have a good day at the beach but she was happiest at the pool.
I dont mind and as long as she's having a good time and not moaning, I wont argue. Anything for a stressfree/peaceful time on holiday.

Wow, this is a difficult one for me. Love the pool as you don't get sand where you don't want it , but I don't think you can beat the sound of the sea when you are laid on the beach . Louise
pool for us all the way... we dont mind having a walk to the beach for a walk, to stretch our legs of just something to do, but coudlnt spend the day there. we tried that lasy year and we only stayed there half an hour and we went back to the hotel
Neither, I hope. Is that sacrilege? We prefer to go for a longish walk and then find a bar and sit there with an ouzo or beer, watching the world go by.
Definately the pool. Hubby loves the beach, but we never go there, as I am terrified of entering the sea. I think I was ok as a child, but last 4 years, there's no way I'll go further than putting my toe in. 2 years ago, my husband nagged and nagged and made me go in, I was gripping him so tight, and was terrified, and then I was stung by a jelly fish absolutely no joke. We were in santorini. That night, my hubby told the bar man, and he was stunned, he said they hardly ever see jelly fish there. God's way of telling me to stay clear of the sea!!!!!!
The only trouble we have at the mo, is our active two year old who likes to wonder, and water is a magnet to them at this age :yikes, so on our next hols, hopefully we can find a spot which isnt to near the pool. or failing this, it will probably be a few trips to the beach/park
